Account Settings

Keep your own profile, sign-in identifiers, contact information, timezone, password, and photo current.

  1. Open the user menu in the portal header.
  2. Select Account Settings.
  3. Make the needed changes.
  4. Save.

Every user can manage their own account settings. Managers use Users when they need to update another team member.

Field How it is used
Full Name Your first and last name. A full name or Display Name is required.
Display Name Shown to customers when provided. A Display Name or Full Name is required.
Title Optional context used in messages and employee selectors.
Timezone Controls the local dates and times shown to you in activity and reporting.
Photo Optional profile image. Use the editor to crop it after uploading when needed.

You need at least one sign-in identifier:

  • Username — Can be used on the login page and cannot contain @.
  • Email Address — Recommended because it supports sign-in, password recovery, invitations, and email notifications.

Usernames and email addresses must be unique, including values still held by removed accounts. If a value belongs to a removed user, an authorized manager must restore or permanently delete that account before the value can be reused.

The optional contact number accepts US and Canadian phone numbers. It can be used for texts or calls only after verification.

Changing a verified number makes verification necessary again. Use Verify Phone after saving when you need phone-based notifications.

Enter a new password with at least 8 characters and save. Leaving the password blank keeps the current password.

If you cannot sign in, use the password-reset link on the workspace login page or follow Find Your Workspace & Sign In.

Account Settings changes your identity and sign-in details. It does not add location access or responsibilities. An authorized manager makes those changes from Users > Manage Access.

The same user menu includes Request Activity, a rolling 30-day view of request and notification usage. See Usage Limits & Request Activity for what each number means.
