Creating Your Account
What This Helps You Do
Section titled “What This Helps You Do”Create your FSRevs account, reserve your workspace address, add your first location, and know what to expect while the workspace is prepared.
Before You Start
Section titled “Before You Start”Have these details ready:
- Your full name, direct phone number, and direct email address
- A password with at least 8 characters
- Your business name, main phone number, state or province, and timezone
- The public phone number on your Google Business Profile, if you have one
The Three Registration Steps
Section titled “The Three Registration Steps”- Create Your Account — Enter your own contact and sign-in details, then choose a Workspace Name.
- Company Details — Find your Google listing or enter and confirm the first location’s details.
- Other Details — Optionally say how you heard about FSRevs and accept the Terms of Use.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Section titled “Step 1: Create Your Account”| Field | Required | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
| Your Name | Yes | Your first and last name |
| Your Title | No | Your role at the business; the form starts with Owner |
| Direct Phone | Yes | Your own US or Canadian phone number, separate from the public company number |
| Direct Email | Yes | Your sign-in email, entered twice for confirmation |
| Password | Yes | At least 8 characters, entered twice for confirmation |
| Workspace Name | Yes | Use 3–32 lowercase letters, numbers, or dashes. It must be unique and becomes the short identifier in your team’s and customers’ FSRevs web addresses. |
Choose a Good Workspace Name
Section titled “Choose a Good Workspace Name”The registration form converts a recognizable business name into an address-safe value: uppercase letters become lowercase, spaces become dashes, unsupported characters are removed, and repeated dashes are collapsed. A Workspace Name cannot start or end with a dash.
| Business Name | Workspace Name | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Essential Marketing Systems, Inc. | ems |
Short, recognizable, and easy to remember |
| Rosie’s Pizzeria | rosies |
Uses the recognizable part of the name |
- 8 characters or fewer is recommended.
- 9–12 characters works, although shorter is easier to share.
- 13–32 characters is allowed, but longer addresses can be harder to type and may produce denser QR codes.
Workspace Names must be unique. FSRevs also reserves names that could conflict with system addresses, services, well-known brands, or misleading review-related terms. If your first choice is unavailable, try a short recognizable variation or add a location, such as acme-maui.
Step 2: Add Your Company Details
Section titled “Step 2: Add Your Company Details”Find Your Google Listing
Section titled “Find Your Google Listing”Enter the public phone number shown on your Google Business Profile, then select Find My Google Listing.
If FSRevs finds more than one result:
- Compare the business name and address. A service-area business may show address hidden by Google.
- Use Click to test in a new window when you want to confirm the listing.
- Select the correct result.
The screen may say whether the result is a recent Google response or a saved lookup. Either can be used. Google sometimes returns only part of a listing, so always confirm every field before continuing.
If automatic lookup is temporarily unavailable or reaches its retry limit, you can enter a Google Place ID manually or choose Continue without a Google Listing. A Place ID may be saved even when Google cannot return rating or review-count details at that moment.
Confirm the Location Fields
Section titled “Confirm the Location Fields”| Field | Required | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
| Company Name | Yes | The business name customers know |
| Company Phone | Yes | The main US or Canadian phone number customers use |
| Country | Yes | United States or Canada |
| State / Province | Yes | The state or province for this location |
| Timezone | Yes | The local timezone used for notifications, activity, and reports |
| Street Address | No | Leave blank for a service-area business when appropriate |
| Address Line 2 | No | Suite, unit, or other secondary address information |
| City | No | City where the business is located or primarily serves |
| ZIP / Postal Code | No | ZIP code in the US or postal code in Canada |
| Website | No | Your business website |
| Google Place ID | No | Filled when a listing is selected, or entered manually when needed |
Step 3: Other Details
Section titled “Step 3: Other Details”The referral question is optional. Accepting the Terms of Use is required before you can submit the registration.
What Happens After You Submit
Section titled “What Happens After You Submit”The next screen confirms Registration complete and shows one of these states:
- You’re all set — FSRevs is preparing the workspace and will email you when it is ready.
- Your workspace is ready — The access email has been sent and Open workspace is available.
- Taking longer than expected — Your registration is safe and FSRevs is still working. Do not register again.
- Extra time needed — You did not do anything wrong, and you should not register again. Use the contact options on the page if you need help.
The page refreshes automatically while preparation is in progress. Keep the displayed Workspace ID and account email handy. Once ready, you can use Open workspace immediately or follow the link in the access email.
The setup page uses a private access link. If that link is no longer available, choose Find your workspace or contact FSRevs for help; private account details stay hidden.
Stuck? Try These Fixes
Section titled “Stuck? Try These Fixes”I cannot find my Google listing Use the exact public phone number shown on Google Maps. If it still does not appear, continue without a listing or enter the Place ID manually. You can connect the listing later.
My Workspace Name is unavailable Try a recognizable abbreviation, a shorter variation, or add a location. Workspace Names are unique and some names are reserved.
The workspace is taking longer than expected Leave the registration as it is—do not submit another signup. The confirmation page will keep checking, and its contact options are available if you need assistance.
I did not receive the access email Wait a few minutes, then check spam, promotions, and filtered folders. If the workspace is ready, use Open workspace on the confirmation page. You can also use Find Your Workspace & Sign In or call the number shown on the page.
